Completed my ADN program! NCLEX-RN next up!This means so much to me because I’m 43 y/o. Had my first baby at 14. Initially dropped out of high school. Went back and got my GED at 18. Tried college at 20, but had another baby and started believing that I wasn’t good for anything great.

One of my most basic dahlias, and the first one I started my love of dahlias with 6 years ago, Arabian Night. Every year she gives me another generation of tubers and even when left in the ground (zone 6A mid Michigan) it comes back for me the last 3 years. 🌱 #garden #gardensky #dahlia #flowers

If we addressed the mental health care deficiencies in this country, many of our other complaints would be non-issues. Not all, but a lot of violence, lack of morals and excessive dishonesty and greed are rooted in mental health causes. I will die on this hill.

Last clinical rotation day of the semester. Goodbye behavioral health for now! I’ve found the rotation overall rewarding and it gave me a more realistic picture of the psych patient overall. Initially I felt I could never work in psych but now I don’t know, it’s interesting.
