Thinking 2025 needs Season 5 of Wellington Paranormal. I don’t know what Faustian deals I need to make, or if I can just manifest it into existence . . .

Luigi got them shook.
North Carolina’s Atrium Health says it will forgive the debts of 11,500 people — less than a week after NBC News reported that the company has aggressively pursued former patients’ medical debts, placing liens on their homes to collect on bills.
'Like a miracle': N.C. couple free of nearly $100,000 medical debt after 15 years
The lien on Donna and Gary Lindabury's home for a 2009 heart surgery debt was among 11,500 wiped away by Atrium Health after an NBC News report.

I’m needing to remind myself not to worry about chapter word counts for the first* draft of my dark romantic fantasy, that I can fix it in the edits

* Technically not my first draft — I had to call it at 100k words the first time as I was halfway through act one of four. A small overshot 😬😬😬

We've all got our list of publishing trends that need to die in 2025. For me, near the top is ambiguously described men of color in fantasy romance—and the constant cycle of white women arguing about them online.

Imma need some of you to think about thriving out of spite. I had big plans for 2025 and I’m definitely not gonna pre-derail them for likes of Elin and Tromp. I’m getting more involved. Loving harder. Writing hornier. Having more fun. I’m gonna be so kind to my neighbors, bitch.

I've seen posts of people wondering if it's worthwhile creating art in times like these, but this is THE time. Art is your sword and shield. Bleed your fear, your grief, your anger, your hopes, your loves, your dreams into everything you make.

Art is your voice. Scream it from the rooftops.
