It’s like they actually want this to happen. That’s the only explanation I can come up with for why Democrats have just rolled over instead of fighting to protect the country.

2/—watching all the progress get undone as Trump drags us back into the abyss. Then they’ll expect a Democrat to fix it in one term with another 50/50 Senate, to hand it all back to a Republican—still clinging to the fantasy they’re “good for the economy”—to wreck it all over again. Rinse. Repeat.

1/ Heartbreaking—if we even make it out of this. Last time, we were on our way to restoring our global standing. Now it’ll take decades to rebuild trust. Voters hold Democrats to a higher standard and expect miracles—for example giving Biden a 50/50 Senate while handing Trump a supermajority

2/ But this time, after being spoon-fed a steady diet of lies & disinformation—knowing full well what Trump did in his first term, also that he’s a convicted felon, an adjudicated rapist & staged a coup—they still voted for him again. And that is why the American people lost the trust of the world.

1/ I just want to clarify—my whole point was that whether voted or stayed home, sent a message to the world that voters didn’t give a damn about the consequences—and we’re all suffering. In 2020, when we all elected Biden to get rid of Trump, we were finally back on the right track.

Of course — I just ran out of space to include them. But yes, they’re part of my statement. And don’t forget the whole protest vote — and people like Jill Stein, who slithers out of the woodwork every four years to screw everything up, and people fall for it… every single time.

People need to learn how their govt works: you can thank Gingrich for the end of compromise. People h/t give POTUS a supermajority in both chambers to get things done—and understand he’s not gonna accomplish everything in one term. So stop whining when he cant get his agenda passed w/ a 50/50 Senate

We ‘righted the ship’ in 2020, and we had to keep moving forward. Look at what we’ve done to ourselves—a self-inflicted wound that never s/h happened. Our standing in the world is gone. They’ll never trust us again—bc of the American voter. We’ve proven we can’t be counted on to do the right thing

His presidency feels like it’s measured in dog years. We’re not coming out of this unscathed. He’s pillaging the coffers, Dems are out of their depth—unprepared for what’s coming heading into the midterms. And the “3rd-term” nonsense. The man razed the East Wing—that’s not someone planning to leave

It’s not a reboot. He’s playing Frank Drebin’s son—hence Frank Drebin Jr. That makes it a sequel. A reboot would mean replacing Leslie Nielsen, which he isn’t.

Why wait? Just do it. Republicans have been gerrymandering for years, and it’s been catastrophic for the country. Meanwhile, Democrats have been playing by the rules. If democracy is truly on the line, act like it. If Newsom says we can’t wait—then don’t. Just do it.

In 2015—before Obama left office—the UN Human Rights Committee slammed the U.S. for widespread abuses against women & girls and for failing to meet its obligations under the ICCPR. Fast forward to 2025—it’s worse.

Jack, Democrats want to maintain the status quo and wont do anything bc it exposes them too. Trump’s victim complex and everything is “rigged.” Dems strategy is to let him term out, then clean up his mess like before. But this time, there may be no democracy left to save

Glenn, not to sound like a batshit MAGA conspiracy theorist, but… let’s say SCOTUS pulls something hinky—like overturning Maxwell’s conviction. At what point do we start asking whether Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Kavanaugh, or Gorsuch are on Epstein’s list too? Just something to ponder—just sayin’

Just stop. And when they give up their seat in the house, they go in to lose in the general election. Because of that unicorn chasing we can turn Texas blue.

That’s not how this ends. Republicans are rigging the system so we won’t have real elections anymore. We’ve been dealing with Trump for over a decade—it’s long past time to take him at his word.

There won’t be any free and fair elections, Angry. Project 2025 is getting checked off item by item—and it’s happening right in front of us. Meanwhile, Democrats dropped the ball again. Their so-called strategy? Let Trump serve two terms, hope it gets bad enough, and count on voters to swing back.
