2/—watching all the progress get undone as Trump drags us back into the abyss. Then they’ll expect a Democrat to fix it in one term with another 50/50 Senate, to hand it all back to a Republican—still clinging to the fantasy they’re “good for the economy”—to wreck it all over again. Rinse. Repeat.

1/ I just want to clarify—my whole point was that whether voted or stayed home, sent a message to the world that voters didn’t give a damn about the consequences—and we’re all suffering. In 2020, when we all elected Biden to get rid of Trump, we were finally back on the right track.

People need to learn how their govt works: you can thank Gingrich for the end of compromise. People h/t give POTUS a supermajority in both chambers to get things done—and understand he’s not gonna accomplish everything in one term. So stop whining when he cant get his agenda passed w/ a 50/50 Senate

Why wait? Just do it. Republicans have been gerrymandering for years, and it’s been catastrophic for the country. Meanwhile, Democrats have been playing by the rules. If democracy is truly on the line, act like it. If Newsom says we can’t wait—then don’t. Just do it.

That’s not how this ends. Republicans are rigging the system so we won’t have real elections anymore. We’ve been dealing with Trump for over a decade—it’s long past time to take him at his word.
