The ssd is the problem. Let the power run out and your books have at most about 5 years to live. If its thick as a book, consider 2.5" of spinning rust, you don't need ssd performance for text.

I'm totally unqualified to make this comment - I think you need to add a subtle motion to the main bone in time with the wing thrusts - up slightly on the down thrusts, and settling back to origin on the up.
