I start radiation and chemo in 2 weeks for a small tumor found in my pancreas. I'm already missing part of my small bowel, my entire large intestine, and the lower part of my pancreas. I'm on pancreatic enzymes for the rest of my life.

Discussing my day one methodology for clinical chaplain students with fellow site chaplains took them off guard. It boils down to. If possible I always start with a visit to the hospital morgue or bedside. It's to dispel the biological mystery of death and it's a lesson that we deal with death.

So they are in fact trying to cut the Medicaid expansion population. This isn't a shock in the cruelty or stupidity, but how they are going to spin ripping healthcare from 20 million Americans will be something.
