I mostly repost art here.
There is also a possibility that they used to draw completely by themself then switched to gen IA, I’ve seen that in the past.

To be clear I do think they use AI. I had some doubt for a while, and while I’m not fan of witch hunting either, the way they are responding to the issue by not addressing it, muting comment and erasing post is pretty damning to me. Especially after a blunder this big.

You can trace on paper using a light table (which they have), their is plenty YouTube videos of peoples doing real painting over very obvious pencil traced AI art. As for this artist I’d say they seems to have some form of artistic skills (their hatches are pretty clean) but it is a bit suspicious.

Tbf I’ve seen professional and renowned artists draw one too many finger or a character with two left feet years before genAI was a thing.
This case is very suspicious tho, the author has some explaining to do.

Lmao if true they really managed to fool a big part of the Bluesky art community for over a year.
That definitely could be tho, when I first saw their pencil works first thing that came to my mind was that it really reminded me those video of peoples doing gouache painting over IA illustration.

Go to moderation, mute words and tag, then you can choose to ban specific keywords or just tags. You can also exclude peoples you follow from being muted.
I started with furry and furryart, then added more specific keywords whenever I got to see them.

Yeah, also I had to blacklist every furry tags in existence to use Bluesky comfortably.
(Nothing wrong if you enjoy furry stuff, but I don’t want to see any of it)

I can’t guarantee it’s better, I have a follow list big enough that I mostly stick to the following tab nowadays.

It’s cool to see a spike in activity on Bluesky before most people inevitably go back to that hellhole because big number tickles brain in funny way.

To be fair they did talk about the use of IA in a Spanish article a while ago. Not the outlet with the most widespread reach but that is a thing.
