she has taken the aesthetic, the tastes, the languages of that man and went with it. i also think that the state of the world and the society (the death of woke, if you will) has influenced this album to be catered (or feel catered) to a specific group of people

like the album sounds good, the majority of the songs are good/okay, it's a good album and not the end of her career like some people say but there's a context, a narrative that has been going on ever since her first album that i just can't ignore
