Also this reminds me of this art I did!
A printed copy of art that was originally made with charcoal and other art pencils. This is printed in landscape position on an off-white card stock with A4 paper dimensions. This print is positioned on a light brown grain of bamboo wood. There are only greyscale colors. The lightest color is a white hand drawn text; You’re “free” This text is outlined in black. The background is a dark gradient, starting with black at the bottom of the page that becomes lighter near the text. The background is also contrasted with a pair of hands in fists where the wrists are forcibly held together by a thick chain that continues to bind up the arms. The message of the art is in the metaphorical juxtaposition of how someone can tell you that you are free, without breaking the chains that bind you. However, a glimmer of hope is found in the small cracks in the chains that have formed over years of resistance - that maybe the chains will finally break…

What is your favorite holiday cookie? 🍪

To my Palestinian Community,
Does anyone know how to properly mend a keffiyeh?
I'm not sure what type of repair this would fall under. It looks like the weave got snagged maybe?
Regardless, I would really appreciate it if someone could teach me how to mend this.
Image of a multicolored keffiyeh with a maroon base color. In the leaves pattern, a thick light tan "thread" (?) is loose from the weave, connected on both sides to the keffiyeh. The image shows that two leaves have been removed from the surface and under one layer of the maroon weave, some of the thick light tan "thread" is visible.
