I didn’t read through the thread before responding to Mayor Lucas. My initial reply was to him. I’m not in disagreement with you and what you’re saying, I get it. The way this post came across though, in a time where it is imperative to draw a line against these things, left a lot to be desired.

Seatbelt law enforcement? “Click it or ticket” ring a bell? No permits were filed? What about dumpys EO about masks? It’s just weird bc these same “protections” you speak on are being trampled on and blatantly ignored. Rules for thee and not for me is all I’m seeing.

Just some still shots of them directing them out of the parking lot and allowing them to leave.. did you also escort them through our city?

Mayor Lucas, this is not an acceptable response and you know it. You cannot ride the line when it comes to fascism. Doing so only makes you one of them. This is deplorable behavior and must be denounced. The KCPD did not intervene or ticket them (likely bc they were also participating) Do better.
