This whole retro segment is great. Nintendo really should have kept the vocal song hidden for the moment instead of putting it all in the marketing. I also love the retro sprites changes depending on what outfit you’re wearing.

I like how there’s just a random T-Rex in the Mario Universe. No stylization or anything just a realistic T-Rex randomly roaming around in Odyssey, and it’s wearing a top hat for reasons.

I see why this section has the reputation it does lol. It’s fun for me though and it’s quite a set piece for the NES, and they have a good checkpoint for it and unlimited continues that they give you.
