Speaking of that show, I loved Amy in it - really though all of her incarnations have their own charm! Lately I've been very fond of restoration leader Amy and her role in IDW; Amy truly can do anything." Sonic promised Amy that Tails was fine when he told her about the crash (on the phone, to tell her about the letter), and Amy agreed – mostly because Sonic really sounded like he needed someone to affirm that for him – but it’s still good to see Tails looking chipper. One of his tails is in a cast, so he’s sitting awkwardly, but other than that he looks okay. Amy gives him the gift bag she brought for him and takes his hand in lieu of hugging him. “Hi! How are you doing? How’s the workshop project going?” “Not much progress since you last saw it,” grumbles Tails. “Since I’ve been stuck here. How was Spagonia?” “Oh, it was great!” Amy tells him a little about her travels, Tails complains a little about his hospital stay, they both update each other on what they’ve heard about their friends lately… and then Tails takes out his laptop. It turns out to be just a .txt file. Tails fiddles with the gift bag while Amy reads, and it’s not a long letter, but it’s still so… so… Amy, if you’re reading this I am dead, and I can only assume Sonic is as well. You must be seething…"
