To demonstrate my point, 77 had one of the first post-punk albums Marquee Moon, Pink Floyd's Animals, David Bowie's "Heroes", etc.

79 had Off the Wall, London Calling, Unknown Pleasures, The Wall...

And 78 has what? Parallel Lines? Some solid but underwhelming efforts from iconic artists?
