I just updated last night because I was interested in the tiling and windowing updates... Its 1 part meaningful updates and 100 parts fuck awful. The forced space between split windows. The unchangeable rounded corners. It makes me mad as a UI Dev. Their implementation is so ugly and amateurish. Ugh

Before November, I didn't think I would be saying, "I made a game in 2025"...and now, I get to say I'm making another game in 2026. This project is special to me. It brought me out of slump and it's the first game I've completed. Plus, I created it with a friend. This is a great end to 2025 for me.

When we began this project, we agreed we'd be happy if at minimum we had a moving and jumping block. Instead, we built 2 completed levels with full assets, a modeled Scuba, full bgm and sfx, and added extra flourishes along the way. We have a full (tiny) game and the collaboration was effortless!

And you know what? It was an amazing experience. We had our own little game jam. Woodsy is an audio wizard and took the reigns on sfx, bgm, and our audio engine. We collaborated on level design and he greyboxed our levels in-engine while I coded our movement and relearned Blender to make 3d assets.
