Only thing we know is that Miyamoto and Koizumi debated on the story galaxy 1 had. Miyamoto allowed it for the first game but when the second game happened, that’s when he decided it was up to him that’s why 2 is more of a retelling of 1

Persona 5 Royal- A very good game at people has always said that it is. I like P3R a bit more but this game has a lot of charm and great characters that makes it special. Palaces are also a nice addition that makes the exploration not repetitive. Persona just has a certain charm to it always
