True, though a lot of it is mostly for game-play reasons. Personally, I think it's a case to case thing. For example, Gerison knows you're human 100% where the shop keeper in snowdin just thinks you're a traveler from the ruins. Undyne probably just figures it out during the second encounter.

This one is an incomplete statement. That cockroach monsters in the ruins is a bully. Aaron just wants to show off his biceps, and Pyrope just really likes fire. Their dialogs aren't malicious, just perhaps selfish and clumsy. I would say they're innocently playing, just being rude imo. lol

The only issue with that is Undyne needs a description of you to know they're attacking the right target. And they Royal Guard in hotland are also clueless that you're a Human. And none of the common monsters call you "human". Which puts monsters knowing also in theory territory.

Whether the 6 humans fell shortly after, or long after doesn't really matter. Just that it's suggested that Flowey was created after the 6 humans fell.

Lots of suggestions, no actual proof.
That being said, it is fun seeing people interpret their own views on what happened.

The weapons used during the war suggests mid-evil era. Nara-Chara's use of pop-culture references (Loox eyewalker) suggests 201X is our modern time. And the fact that most monsters don't know what a human looks like and that they all forget Chara's name suggests a lot of time has passed.

The 100years theory mostly comes from a hyperbole line from Sans; "like she hasn't laughed in 100 years". But considering how often Sans' "jokes" land on the nose, it's an okay/harmless theory that doesn't really contradict anything story wise.

We do have a rough time frame of events though.
