Is the existence of the UN paradoxically bad for the world? There’s obviously some good about it, but I don’t know, man. I kinda think that not having anything like the UN at all would force states to take action against the occupation of Palestine. The existence of the UN literally prevents it.

The analogies to 30’s Germany are obvious, and I hear more cautionary tales about kristallnacht and that this is where we’re heading. We don’t need to look for hidden clues, though. This shit isn’t happening behind the curtains but out in the open. Someone will arrange «kristallnacht»… 1/2

I look forward to a day when the ICE agents who abduct people on behalf of the rogue government will go to prison for their many obvious crimes. If the US is heading for progress though, this won’t cause a blowout in the prison-industrial complex. So maybe finally a large scale pardon… 1/2

Not that any of us were wondering, but now that absurd payment package 2.0 has passed for Musk, any doubt whatsoever on whether Tesla is a company rooted in any economic metric or if they’re following the economics of a straight-up cult should be laid to rest.

Gaza will be stolen from the Palestinians. Gaza is sufficiently bombed and destroyed for a deal to be made. Now the US and Israel can make sure that they will be able to rebuild Gaza in their name. Ending suffering is great. But this will be another land grab and a large step in the ethnic cleansing

If we were to learn anything from the failed game theory of the Cold War, the international community needs to agree to avoid an AI arms race before the escalation spirals out of control like it did with the nukes.

One thing that I will never forget about this time in history is just how normalized extreme behaviour is. As an example, Trump’s and republicans policies are largely talked about as legitimate policies and smart experts are talking about the policies without acknowledging how crazy they are.

Seeing the different western leaders reactions to the US and Israeli attacks is demoralising. No one had the guts to call the attacks for what it is - unprovoked attacks on a sovereign nation. No one has the guts to stand up to them😔

We (Europeans) need to hold our leaders accountable for what happens next. We will not accept any future sidings with the US or Israel in this conflict. We will not fight your aggressive imperialistic wars. #neveragain

Nobody wants to see civilians killed, war is a horrible thing for human kind. The distinction is just that when Israel’s attacks are countered with bombs going off in Tel Aviv, we don’t compare them to the bombing of London in WWII, but to the bombing of Berlin.
