That's some good merch right there.

Since it looks like the ChromeOS/Android merger/replacement is a thing that's happening, I imagine they have to make some things work finally.

10,000 years ago, there was a plan/ticket to make it a package/meta-package/etc. for FreeBSD, instead of its own distro. In an alternate universe, it probably works better.

Are you doing any hardware/software offloading? I know with mine, I can get super low latency with offloading, at the cost of some bufferbloat, or I can 0 bufferbloat at the cost of higher latency since I have to disable offloading for it. (That might not be a 1:1 thing, but just generally.)

Slightly belated, and I think I replied elsewhere (hopefully!?) but either way, hope you are successful in the wrestling, and if you need a tag-team partner, you got one boss. I can do my best Macho Man Randy Savage impression! (In all seriousness, available to help and wishing well.)

Might be the way you balance your weight? I've had similar happen, and in my case, it seemed like it was because of the way I was sitting (toilets aren't built for tall people, it seems).

A quick search of the 8311 server makes it seem like some people are finding ways to bypass those, and others are tinkering with them, but I can't find a definitive guide yet. :will keep eyes peeled:

They don't make them like they used to (literally). I do wonder what you could get away with if you built something yourself using a lab power supply and some other odds and ends, but then I remember I rent and don't want to lose my apartment. >_>

I wish...microwaves had consistent power manipulation techniques. Some of them just run less often during the cycle, some of them have actual power changing ability, some of them just have steppings. >:T

May all our priorities be so crystal clear someday.

To think, this would be an improvement from where we are. 🤔

So we've got The World's End on one side, what goes on the other...?

Yuuuuuup.

Some of the newer ones, you can't. Supposedly it's a safety measure, as they get less accurate over time, but I'm pretty sure that they used to just beep when they got too old, and the not-being-able-to-replace-the-battery thing is a cash grab.

I had a Voodoo2 that worked up until just before the pandemic. Finally gave up the ghost and I didn't have the skills to fix it. Great little bit of kit, and still supported* in Linux, for people wanting to play with retro kits. Was mind blowing when that first came out.

I think it's nice to see new things coming along and stirring up interest again either way. I'd argue the strongest feature of Homestuck stuff was always what it inspired, more than the exact canon. Not too often you get something that spawns so much art, music, and writing.

You put that very eloquently. Yes, I think Hussie kinda...treats a lot of things as joke, and in his absence (and with some of the other writing teams), many things were...not so much of a joke anymore, so it's a little jarring? To your point though, it can just be a fun AU, for sure.

I saw those. I am...squinting loudly at a couple, and wondering loudly if people think alike design-wise. Lore-wise...I...think some of the community ideas were better. XD

Take it easy boss, let us know if you need anything. 🫂

Was looking over a guide (github.com/PhoenixShepp...), I imagine if you could get BSD/Linux on there, you might be able to dump the BIOS, unlock, then reflash. To your point, only worth doing that much if you're comfortable losing it though.
