I'm one of the ones who loves the rail but avoids the buses. 8/12 months of the year it's just plain unbearable waiting on a (nominally) 20-minute headway without any provided furnishings/shelter.
Rail stations by comparison are downright luxurious. Our bus stops just plain suck to use.
