That would take over a thousand years, and I'm not even counting bathroom breaks. :(

That feeling is ALWAYS a trap.
What I opt to do if I already feel "tired enough" is take just a smaller amount. If you have pills you can halve of or.. nibble on.. just take less than what you usually have, and keep a backup next to bed for when it isn't enough! And try to go to bed earlier! :)

When I still went to grade school, I believe the number was 24 or 30.

I love everything about this trailer.

I know this means little from an internet stranger who isn't even remotely involved with this cat. I've lost my cat Wolli earlier this year. What you're doing is a somber reminder for me of how I kept searching.. Thank you for trying to reunite a family. Feels good to know some people care out there

I know that it has been two months, but have you thought of something yet?

I've had some fear of getting into anything live service for a while, but some of my favorites I've lost were Manyland, Dread Hunger, Overwatch 1 and Nosgoth.

I'd be heartbroken if I lost Helldivers 2. And even though I don't play the "Online" version, Wurm Online needs to stay alive!

I think that @acerola.gg MAY have an answer or two, after he's recently made the switch to Godot. He's currently working with Godot compute shaders (making a compute shader wrapper) and has expressed to be a sort of fan of yours in the past.

Making lightmaps is easy and quick nowadays. There's multiple different ways with their own ups and downs. One uses voxel data, another uses light probes.
Volumetric fog is also pretty damn good now. And the head developer was really invested in making a good audio mixer system. :)

Light and color wise, I think Godot has reached new peaks with the recent addition of the AGX tonemap. Crazy to me, how it was barely mentioned in the changelogs..

The only thing I've really been missing in Godot is a 3D modeling plugin like Unity's ProBuilder.

Yeah, it's brilliant for 2D stuff. The only thing I could wish for in the 2D department would be a deformation system like in Live2D. Still hoping that when Spriter 2 is fully released, there will be a plugin for Godot.

I can understand how that would turn you instantly off. From all I can tell, things are pretty intuitive and working nowadays. GDScript is a bit of a leap, but there are some really sweet sources to learn it from, like that one standalone learning tool by the GDQuest people.

Which aspects are hard to use in Godot?
February 12, 2025 at 6:42 PM
We need to get you out there and meet some other engines! There's this blue robot guy who seems really sweet! Maybe you two would get along! 👀

Is it by chance Unity?

Come on, we all need to have a little breather once in a while. Not everything you do has to be for the sake of your productivity. You'll just end up dreading being productive.

If you're terrified of making mistakes, you're likely going to end up somewhere you can't mess up anymore, surrounded by people who nod at everything you say and do. This will tank your ingenuity and you'll likely to stick with the status quo. Everyone makes mistakes. Point them out and move on! =)
