If half the population is made of ignorant, uninformed, selfish angry people who know nothing of the world they live in, we will get leaders just like them, who’ll exploit their position to their own personal benefit. Improving the life quality of every citizen is step one to build a better society.
Well, now we know the files have been completely filtered and purged of any information that could damage him. Also, funny how he tells house reps to release them, when he could do it himself immediately.

Crazy depressing that we’re having a political fight to have the government subsidize the private health insurance industry instead of the actual healthcare providers’ infrastructure: like letting them profit over the American people’s right to good health should be accepted as an immutable reality.

The pressure to have the Epstein files released should be relentless, agreed. However, I don’t believe for a minute it will ever be disclosed to the public what’s really in them, if not decades from now.

One thing that’s really clear to me after learning about Ghislaine Maxwell’s new detention conditions is the I am in serious, desperate need to do at least a couple of straight years in jail myself.

Elections showed the true face of America is still one of freedom and justice for all. Now, look forward to other greater and lesser things: Gavin Newsom President and Jack Smith Attorney General; John Fetterman unreelected and George Santos back to jail for the inevitable next fraud. And many more.

Just a reminder that as much as the upcoming spikes in health insurance premiums for all citizens will be a consequence of the current administration’s policies, the root of the problem remains the outrageous profit the healthcare industry as a whole makes on the public, with no political pushback.

I pray that our representatives in the house let Republicans have their budget by only one vote per chamber, to show we are uncompromisingly opposed, but letting them own the consequences. Causing a shutdown will allow them to slash public employees and pin it on us, 100%

The president of the country that defeated and freed the entire world from fascism thus becoming the “leader of the free world”, is now outlawing being against fascism. That’s a 180 for the ages, all right. It’s only a matter of time before being a registered democrat will be a prosecutable offense.

Nothing new other than another occurrence that takes place multiple times on a daily basis in our country… too many guns, too little control, poor regulation. Notably, one of today’s events also shows how first and second amendment don’t mix well. Very sad.

After Rush Limbaugh, Devin Nunes and this we’ll have to tell our children and grandchildren the story of how that the presidential medal of freedom - now a gilded tin toy - once really was the highest possible achievement a civilian could earn in the country.

If there is a silver lining to this disgrace, not just for the US, but likely human kind, is that it is now a proven fact that in our country literally anyone can become president. But why we are doing this to ourselves will be a core subject of social studies across the planet for decades to come.

The words honest, intelligent and MAGA can’t be all in one sentence. Because if you’re MAGA and honest, you’re not intelligent; if you’re MAGA and intelligent, you’re not honest; if you’re honest and intelligent, you’re not MAGA.

I imagine Jerome Powell will not be allowed to stick around much longer. He has all my respect for not compromising with his principles, as different our views may be.

This moment was indeed extraordinary. Almost comical, it reminded of those cheesy Benny Hill gags with the tiny older guy: but Jerome Powell in reality has taken no shit, and it has been a joy to see it.

Please pause your Epstein anger until September. It's going to take some time to remove the numerous mentions of Trump from all the records. Thank you for being compliant.

Pam Bondi is hurrying to meet Ghislaine Maxwell in jail for an urgent meeting: let’s brace for another episode of “the art of the deal” saga.

Or were you thinking Pam suddenly realized she could offer testimony that could help expose the pedo in chief and finally bring him to justice?

We have great comedians who do a much better job at pushing back against injustice and fascism than most people we pay to do just that. Let them come to independent media and let’s all abandon the mainstream to their shallow future: all they’re worth at this point is just money.
