Serious question - Does the drop we see because of these tariffs fall under "market correction" or is it categorized as something different? Do economists view this as part of a cycle?

I'm close to some folks in the food distribution business and I'm hearing even US supplies (food made here) are already raising their prices to be similar to the imported ones + tariff. Defeats the whole made in the US philosophy if they just price gouge. That should be illegal.

Just finished The Penguin last night. Easily the best DC Universe movie/show I’ve ever seen. Colin Farrell and Cristin Mioloti are superb. I’d love to see more villain backstories with the same kind of character development.

Induction stoves are the shit. Boiling water in 30 secs is everything. Replacing almost every pot and pan is the only down side though.

I like Kendrick’s music but that halftime show was mid. I feel like he was working within a lot of parameters given by the super bowl folks.

I get everyone’s reaction to Dallas losing Luka but is it just me that thinks this is amazing for AD & prolonging his career and efficiency. If AD is healthy, he’s a top 3 defender & top 5 offensive player. Dallas was deliberate w/ their need & I applaud them for being bold. Better work though.

There's been some talk of people affected by the Palisades fire having their homeowners insurance pulled by the insurance company. How is that legal? Did they mean they didn't renew their policy? Are they just wording this wrong?
