jip.. found the combination of nix and home manager to just be perfect for dotfiles

haven't had the same joy for dev environments with nix though..

it's great.. also use it!

currently the maintainer is away on a 4 month or so holiday, so there are quite a few breaking changes.. but it works fine if you just pin your versions😅

that is great, but i feel it's missing the stack overflow human interaction, where someone would 'uhm actually..' that answer with a shorter solution.. but i guess i could do that for you

it all depends on who you ask.. I'm still using tmux, but i've heard people speak wonders of zellij.. and doesn't ghostty have split windows and tabs built in as well?

Hi, Neovim.. but it's a bit of a learning curve, took me a few months to become productive again

So it really depends on what your pain threshold is, or if MS ticked you off enough😂

For out of the box, I've heard good things about Zed, if you're on LInux or Mac.. no Win support yet unfortunately
