Doing the math, Split Lip has a pretty good deal, for Amazon. If you're really small, Amazon keeps 55% and then expects you to ship books by ones and twos, so shipping costs erase any money you might have made. We ate that for a while for the "prestige", but in the end, to hell with Amazon.

Considering how buggy and resource-hungry v2 is, them abandoning it in that state really disinclines me from wanting anything further to do with them. They have absolutely not earned my trust.

I remember this being posted to the web ages ago. It was such a great setup and then it just sort of stopped before we ever found out what's going on. It has haunted me ever since and it is great to have it suddenly reappear!

Even then, it depends on how well maintained and calibrated the equipment is. I remember one print house... working from the same files, every print run was visibly different shades.

None of the titles I'm waiting for ever seem to make it onto the "most excited about" list, and I'm stuck clicking on "none of the above". Maybe add "other title coming out this month" as an option? I've had Strange House 4 on preorder for months now. I'm excited! It's just not on the list.
