This case revealed the cracks in how sexual violence is addressed in this country, not just in court but in our cultural narratives around masculinity, power, coercion, and what passes for “consent”.

The gender pay gap for women with disabilities is 43%. They earn only $0.57 for every dollar a non-disabled man makes and must work 157 extra days to catch up to the average man. Equal Pay Day for women with disabilities is June 6, 2025.

Yesterday, June 2, marked Equal Pay Day for Black women. The gender pay gap for Black women is 42%. They earn only $0.58 for every dollar a man makes, And must work an extra 153 days to earn what an average man makes in a year.
