Astros manager Joe Espada opened his news conference today with this statement confirming that he met with Framber Valdez and César Salazar after last night's game. Asked what is "not true," Espada said "there's a lot of stuff that I was told that happened and they're not true."

The Astros will open the 2026 season with a seven-game homestand at Daikin Park against the Angels and Red Sox. Opening Day is March 26 against the Angels.
