i'm headed to japan for a vacation at the end of this month, what would you say is the absolute MUST experience thing?

Half-Life's story, setting, and themes are peak to me. I see a cosmic horror story that celebrates humanity.

Instead, they got just a taste of hell encroaching. The dead were the lucky ones. But it's not defeatism in this sound, just melanchony, with a slight tinge of hope. Come Xen or the Combine, whether we win or lose against cosmic forces beyond understanding, at least we put up a hell of a fight.

I can imagine this playing during and after a bloody firefight between some HECU marines and the Black Ops in the waning hours of the Black Mesa Incident. Those marines were young boys who wanted to live the soldier's fantasy and shoot some alien bastards HOO-RA!
