If you know literally the first thing about the war on Gaza, you know that these atrocities are happening because Netanyahu needs to retain power to stay out of prison, so he replaced his government with far right, ultrareligious lunatics and started a total war to distract the populace.

The lesson you *should* take away from this truly bizarre exchange, but I'm sure you won't, is that, usually, if thousands of people are talking about something on the internet, and you're out of the loop, you should check the fucking newspaper before you get on their case.

Let me make extra sure you have all the information. The Guardian is a newspaper produced out of London. It offers editions for several English-speaking countries, but its primary edition is the British edition. It is available at your favorite newsstand, by subscription, or online.

I'm saying it's utterly absurd to get pissy when people talk about current events on bsky. You can't possibly expect every post on a microblog site to offer context for those who are out of the loop. But I *can* rationally expect you to open a newspaper once per morning and peruse the headlines.

Pick any American paper of record, go to its web site, and read the front page article about Trump firing a statistician for reporting numbers he doesn't like. You will inadvertently learn why none of us on this side of the pond feel the need to explain what this jobs report is.

Policing how other people experience the world is outright terrible, suggesting that somebody "sounds like a cis person" is terrible on many levels, and then when you found out he's a trans man, you posted like that invalidates him. They give him half the gate because he owns a 50% stake in the subsidiary that owns the lots. It was his last diabolical maneuver. Man ain't in the baseball business, he's in the real estate business 😠
