Blessed to encounter this gorgeous orb weaver today. 🕸️🕷️
Orb weaver spider in the center of its web. Low to the ground, between two bushes and above a bed of leaves. Tight closeup of the upper body of an orb weaver spider. It is hanging on its web, facing down. The small black bristles on its orange legs stick out. Its tiny eyes are barely visible. Another picture of the same orb weaver. This shot is more level with the spider; its downward-facing body center in the frame (and its web). Its legs are held together in pairs, forming an X. The brown and yellow pattern on its thorax is very distinct, with rows of honeycomb designs lining it horizontally.
