Been at Fratton for 3 months now. Where had that time gone! Been to Waterloo a few times this week, it’s so nice to just zip past all the services I used to work.

After a bad start to the day with being unable to get to Eastleigh… I got there after work and collected my new toy!

To top it off I did a bunch of trains with @sam2vt.bsky.social - and finally got @champs707007.bsky.social as my chauffeur!

Doing some Lufthansa ops in the sim today with my Dutch friends. It’s been a very long time since I have done so been a good laugh.

Honestly so content right now can’t even explain it 😂. Listening to ATC while sitting in the car at the beach after I’ve been for a walk.

Not posted on here in a little while. Been busy sorting the house out and route learning. Driven, driven trains to and from Fratton - Southampton & now Fratton - Basingstoke. Half way done on my routes.

Upside to moving out? I can bring cups like this out of storage 😎😂

After no luck trying to do some route learning yesterday I got in 2 return trips to Southampton today 👌.

Well tomorrow kicks off my last run of shifts at Wimbledon park. It’s mad that it’s been nearly 7 years since I started there as a trainee driver. Cover turn tomorrow, with Chessington South and Empties after the cover part of the shift. Portsmouth & Dorking on Saturday.

Doing the same front portion of a job today as yesterday, will be taking 5701 & 5727 ECS to Wimbledon then in service to Shepperton and back to Waterloo via Kingston. Hoping it’s not as slippery out today 🙏. Now into my last month of driving these old girls before I leave.

First post here…. Can I go back to bed yet? 😂. Code black so taking it easy everywhere, put the brake in at the london end of Kempton Park for Sunbury & the speedo went higher… full service…. Silence 🫣🫣. Was 👌 close from throwing the anchor out when it finally gripped. Reported that one 😅.
