I think this is because I didn't get my gaming computer until 2010. Were indie games mainly relegated to XBox Live Arcade at the time? Certainly I'm not going to remember the deluge of Flash Games on Newgrounds, and I only had a Wii and PS2 before that. And Runescape.

Looking at my ge history... It's really hard to find anything indie before 2011! I thought OneShot, but that's 2016. I thought Bastion, but that's 2011. Noitu Love 2? 2014. Hey, PvZ counts! And Cave Story!
