as much as i do like to prod our city council i would like to note that this is more an indictment of mission statements as a whole than specifically this instance. i'm sure many cities have to do them. big waste of time tho just imo.

that's why, instead of ephemeral shit talk, i propose the opposite: an opportunity.

join your comrades in illinois. we have legal weed, clean water (so far), students can vote, and certain populations have many more rights here. welcome home, monroe county.

plus i hear there have been some water issues lately. here in c-u we have an underground aquifer. it's world class so long as ADM doesn't poison it. straight out of the tap, no worries. if we were somehow connected, we could share it with monroe county.

statewide, 60-70% of hoosiers support legal weed. bloomington,,,a college town,,,is almost certainly above that.
