Appreciation to Rep. Harrigan for backing #RightToRepair reforms. Veterans know maintenance is discipline—his support helps keep our services and communities equipped to repair what they rely on.

Thank you to Rep. Goodlander for supporting #RightToRepair. Ensuring our forces and partners can maintain and fix their equipment strengthens self-reliance, accountability, and readiness across the board.

Grateful to Ranking Member Smith for advancing Right To Repair provisions that protect readiness and save defense dollars. Repair access isn’t just policy efficiency—it’s stewardship of the tools we serve with.

Major television networks including ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, and NBC, issued their own joint statement, stating the policy would restrict journalist's ability to keep the public informed of important national security issues, and that the policy was without precedent.

By conducting lethal military operations under an invented designation and without any legislative or judicial review, the president is claiming the power to take life unilaterally and outside the limits of law.

When we signed up, we agreed to go where we were told.
But we expected leaders to spend that trust carefully.
Sending troops into a city that didn’t ask for them—just to project strength on camera—is not careful.
It’s a misuse of the trust we gave.

When the next flood hits, will our National Guard be here—sandbagging levees and evacuating families—or stuck in D.C. on a political policing mission? Every day in the capital is a day not spent preparing for real emergencies at home. #KeepTheGuardAtHome

Wildfire season is burning across the country. Our National Guard should be on the fire line—rescuing families, protecting property—not deployed to D.C. for political theater. Keep them focused where they’re needed most. #KeepTheGuardAtHome

Hurricane season is here, and our communities need to be ready. Instead, the National Guard is being pulled into a political policing mission in D.C. Veterans know the Guard’s real mission is protecting neighbors at home—not serving political agendas. #KeepTheGuardAtHome

The National Guard’s job is to protect and support our communities—fighting floods, battling wildfires, and helping neighbors after disasters. Sending Guard units to police D.C. takes them away from the work they’re trained for and the people who count on them #KeepTheGuardAtHome

West Virginia’s National Guard has been ordered to police D.C.—pulling them away from their core mission of protecting our communities. From floods to winter storms, we count on our Guard on in a crisis. They should be home, ready to respond—not on a political policing mission

For the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, our CEO & Founder @itsapurdy.bsky.social shares the story of his first meeting with civil rights giant John Lewis.

They talked about how the fight for freedom abroad connects to the fight for civil rights here at home, a fight that isn't over.

Today is the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. President Johnson signed the bill into law to give all Americans a say in our democracy, free from discrimination and bias. Redrawing districts and purging voter rolls violate the spirit of this law and undermine our democracy.

The Senate Armed Services Committee included a Right to Repair provision in its NDAA. The R2R provision is a step toward improved military readiness, service member safety, and fiscal responsibility. Now it is the House’s turn to support the measure.

If there is a symbol for civic courage under immense pressure, it is Chamberlain on Little Round Top.

As of ~2:55 PM, July 2nd, 1863, he's not quite yet in place.
But neither is destiny.

Give it thirty minutes. Then watch what happens when duty meets determination on a lonely hill in Pennsylvania.

The administration is using these protests as an excuse to politicize the military and force them into immigration enforcement. Listen to Eryn; we can't let it happen.
