Theater artist, dancer, lover of stories. I make a living as a numbers cruncher and am lucky enough to live in Port Townsend, WA.
Dying for Sex on Hulu is THE best show I've seen. Deals with two topics that our society doesn't deal with very well and shows you how it's done. Thank you to the incredible writers, director, actors, and crew that made it happen. Wow.

You have to see this.

PoliticsGirl and her husband teamed up with the brilliant Timothy Snyder (author of On Tyranny) and the legendary John Lithgow to create something truly powerful. It’s important, it’s urgent—and it needs to be shared far and wide.

What an incredible run! So grateful for this experience. I'm reminded again and again how much art can heal.

We have two shows left. Tonight, and our closing matinee tomorrow. It's been an incredible honor working with such a wonderful group of theater artists. Every time I say my lines I think of our country being ransacked. 🧵

Thoughts and musings after finishing our 1st weekend of performances of MacBeth here in Port Townsend...
1) I'm exhausted, but happy
2) The energy each audience brings is crucial to the process of theater and so, so lovely
3) I've missed being a part of a theater community - and this is a good one

It's been a long while since I've acted in a full on production like this. I had forgotten how grounding it is for my mental health... When I'm at the theater, everything else just fades away. I can't say enough about the cast, crew, and director. It's an honor to work with each and every one.

Just got home from a 4 day business trip. I'm in my jammies sitting on my comfy couch home with my love and my kitties. Life is so good right now.

I dreamt I sat down to greet a couple of old friends and then Gene Wilder walked up to join us. I stammered out how lovely it was to meet him, and held out my hand to shake his, but my hand was stuck inside my sleeve. We both laughed and then I woke up..

There's nothing quite like losing myself in a rehearsal of MacBeth after a tough day at work. Murder on stage does wonders for one's mental health...

2024 was a struggle for me on a few fronts. However, there was plenty to be grateful for and I will always endeavor to focus on that. Heading into 2025, I hope to give myself grace, make and solidify new friends, do more art, dance more, and paint my surroundings with color and beauty.

Just binged, over 3 nights, the newest season of Queer Eye. I love the new guy, Jeremiah. I cried. A lot. Love that it took place in Vegas and that it shed a bit of light on the people who make Vegas run and the struggles they experience. Already looking forward to next season!

Greetings. I'm going to give this platform a go... I don't really post that often on other sites. Perhaps I'll get better at it here. We shall see.
