Something feels very insincere about their earnestness. The first thing I ever saw of theirs was the Hallelujah video (showing up in my social feed with comments like “chills!”) and I had to turn it off. The over-emoting was out of control. And I usually have a high tolerance for theatricality.

Maybe I’m overly optimistic, but the hemp-derived THC industry is worth billions and I am very skeptical that they’ll want to just shut off that tap. I think there’s a good chance this gets overridden, somehow.

With pork, you risk the outside becoming overcooked while the middle is still raw. Probably okay if you’re doing a slow-cooker version or something, but for most cooking methods it’s either unappetizing or unsafe. Same goes for chicken.

I have a number of friends who’ve served and they all say the same thing: It’s drilled in very early and thoroughly, and in all kinds of weather. You’d have to TRY to march out of step. Even on a hot, humid day like that was.

I think it's less than a coin flip. We saw the "parade" back in July. Maybe I'm too much of an optimist, but I see the military rejecting him. They couldn't even muster the enthusiasm to march properly, a thing they're usually really good at!

The chip apparently partially detached because brains move around more than you’d think. So it just lost effectiveness. Not great, but not catastrophic either, which is why it wasn’t all that newsworthy.

If they really thought they could stop the midterms, they wouldn't be pulling what they are in Texas. There will still be an election. It's just gonna be a rough, uphill battle with a lot more of the bomb threats and other bullshit we saw in '24.

We used to go to Target a lot for baby needs, a few groceries, etc. Probably twice a month at least. Now it's very rarely (sometimes you just don't have good options) and it is a dead zone when I do go. The Saturday morning fun shoppers are gone, it's just people buying diapers now. LOL.

I'm told that vehicle safety assessments in many other countries are based on the likelihood that *anyone* is killed or seriously injured if that vehicle is involved in a crash. In the US, it's based on the vehicle's occupants only. One factor that enables our sociopathic vehicle purchases.
