I've seen a lot of people, especially from the US, framing the current AI competition with China as a 'war' or 'an arms race'. Healthy competition is useful as it gives rise to better outcomes for everyone. #AI #geopolitics

The whole point of civilisation is to bring about predictability in our daily lives. We organise ourselves by agreeing to a certain set of rules through culture, laws or code, so that the same set of actions lead to the same results for everyone. #civilisation #society
