Did my first book-club meeting so we don't drown out the rest of our friends during normal hang-outs!

Earlier this year I had to throw something into my cart so I wouldn't have to pay a shipping fee for a Glasses Repair Kit. Tossed a book I never finished in my cart & that sort of spiraled & now I've finished the 52 Book Challenge! This isn't all of the 52 just the ones I own (donated what I hated)

I think about the mango, banana, crayfish, curry, chili pepper, garlic sauce pizza often. I might be the only person who orders it at the shop.

The lineup so far for my bookclub over the next 5 months is such a banger

Reorganized my bookshelf a bit! Some stuff is in weird places but it was fun trying to categorize stuff in a way I can find genres at a quicker glance

Coolest birthday gift today was getting my first ever bookshelf of my life! I used to just stack books on the floor, nightstand and dresser when I was younger. Feels really nice to get a shelf and get a new book collection going again.

June wrap up! Super good month except for Greener Pastures. Currently reading The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty but don't think I'll finish that by end of the month.

I have actually never read a Thai book before and this is described as a "Thai Soap-Opera Fever Dream" and I am here for it

Spent 4euros on a 1995 UK edition of Weaveworld and I am STOKED AND ALSO I am the main character amazing

Greener Pastures was not a vibe. I have no words. 4,0/10

Antisocieties is my 3rd favorite book of all time. Please call me Dog Scream. 9,5/10

Next is The Rust Maidens by Gwendolyn Kiste which reminds me I need to fix my balcony door it's a bit rusty.

Cooking is neat because it takes me way too long to get to the city and there are no restaurants where I live, only a pizza shop with mango banana crayfish curry garlic chili pizza.
June 10, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Brain couldnt grasp the vernacular used in Greener Pastures so swapping to Antisocieties by Michael Cisco in the meantime. It seems Hälge approved
June 10, 2025 at 1:50 PM
The Master & Margarita read like a Bosch painting. 8,5/10

Song for the Unraveling of the World had a lot of licking. 7,5/10

Next is Greener Pastures by Michael Wehunt and it has a dog on the cover so I'm sold already.

I dont often go to the city but when I do I just eat food and then go to the gardens because plants

Awful edition. The white material comes off and sticks to my fingers. Swapping to audio book version for this.

Will dual wield it with Song For The Unraveling Of The World by Brian Evenson which is not about knitting or pole weaving scarves.

Where I End took a turn I did... not think it would. 8,5/10

Final book for this latest round of book club, pick from @reallyjoel.bsky.social , The Master & Margarita which somehow fit into the romance category - but in general it's hard to categorize this book.
