Don’t bother updating, its shipped with a bunch of bugs. Wait for at least a x.1 version before attempting to wipe screens with it.

I always preferred periodic waves of accompanying small guys that way there are moments where you have to clean up the trash and other moments of respite where you can focus on the boss and go ham.

Except this isn’t true. They’ve won time and time again throughout history, we just don’t think about it because the records and history of what came before them are GONE. We can’t just be complacent about it. We have to take action to stop it from happening to us.

Some AI models have gotten much better at text. This one is definitely AI, you can see it in the dollar bills being inconsistent and blendy in the pile

Also an excuse for them to retexture the ghast to be pixel consistent. Win win

My initial reaction was similar, but it really really grew on me quickly. It seems like a genuinely useful mount and a fun reason to do things. I do think the goggles are a bit much, and I think it should be called “friendly” instead of “happy”, but I will defo be using them.

Is there any other way to do it??
March 4, 2025 at 5:30 PM
I agree. I honestly found the humor in the teaser to be very true to the originals, the key difference being the more modern references, which people seem to knee-jerk hate.

I genuinely can’t tell if this and the comments are jokes or if the world truly has forgotten the word bimbo.

Either way, great post 👍

There’s a mod that lets you basically end the game with credits and everything whenever you feel like the story is over! I can’t remember what it is called tho

This is the kind of thing where I can imagine it either being gross or being absolutely delicious

I used to do pixel art a lot, and just the other day I made these little doodles to get back into the swing of things! They’re pretty rough, I’m a bit rusty, but I think they’re cute!

Now that he’s beaten speedrunning he can start routing to speedrun speedrunning!

Oh absolutely. Nothing more invigorating (or intimidating) than a fresh start!

I like to use Obsidian to stay organized, personally. I found that a single document makes me spend too much time on formatting and multiple documents is just Obsidian but more annoying to manage lol. It’s helped a lot!

lol yeah, I typically don’t have existing gods either. This world is sort of a descendant of worlds/lore I made when I was a lot younger. Probably one of my favorite worlds I’ve made overall.

Even if I end up having to rework a buncha crap lmaooo
November 12, 2024 at 6:01 AM
Worldbuilding is always 99% the consequences of your own actions.

In the world I’m working on, I have gods that exist, and just recently I decided I hated how the main creator one worked and now here I am reworking pretty much everything, including huge parts of the magic system, as a result.
November 12, 2024 at 5:38 AM
Lmaoooo true that.

Of course, you could also just set the narrative to a small scope place like a town and simply allude to a larger world with exclusively made-up words that have no actual meaning or continuity. (This is also ill-advised)

There are no less than 5 rivers in Europe called “River Avon” bc different groups of colonizers asked the natives what the rivers were called and they said “A river” in their native tongue and the colonizers just went “Ah yes, the River Avon”

So if you think YOU get lazy naming landmarks…
