#MilfordSound in #NewZealand is stunning on a perfect day with the sun in full shining regalia, sailing across a cloudless sky. But, I think there is just as much beauty in the cloudy and rainy weather I'd had when on a cruise there back in 2016.
Thick clouds cloak a silhouetted island at the horizon of an open expanse of grey water, ruffled by wind and rain. Grey mountains with thin ribbons of waterfalls dwarf the frame; a grey, cloudy sky looms over the peaks. Mighty mountains with hints of green growth and ribbons of waterfalls, partially cloaked by clouds rolling over the rocks, dwarf a boat calmly swimming under their imposing presence.

When I went to #Brisbane, #Australia earlier in 2024, I discovered to my delight how stunning and photogenic #waterlilies are to behold. 😍🪷
