Always make sure there's water in the coffee machine before turning it on.
Fortunately, when I discovered today's tip, I immediately turned it off. Crisis Averted!

60 minutes at 350 was nearly too much. The planned 90 minutes surely would be. My oven is apparently more robust than my grandmother's.
