But this is a bit apples and oranges - Nats run LH candidates in regional seats they think they can win, Greens run in large number of LH seats they are far from winning. Nats also have a coalition partner they don’t run against in many places. V different strategies produce v different results.

It’s an attitude of “if the policy is racist but they aren’t racist *in their hearts* then they’re not racist” that really misses the point. Intent doesn’t trump everything. Pragmatic exploitation of racism is still racist.

I don’t understand how Musk can be able to manage his own CoI (or however Trump waved the issues away) when he nominally should be making decisions on govt efficiencies that could harm his businesses - surely SpaceX shareholders and board shouldn’t be ok with him in that role?
