When I wrote video games stuff I tried educating folks on the difference between a game designer and a game developer. AI is trying to replace developers. And the difference between those two jobs (despite them being the same people some times) is why we should be looking to get rid of ai.

Oof. I think there has never been an actor more over rated. Like, he's fine. Adequate. He really is. But have you ever seen him playing someone other than Edward Norton, except in that movie about Richard what's his name?

I did genuinely need to double check that this was the onion. When I was an EMT, we got push back on use of Narcan. As though it should be regulated like an opioid. I now firmly believe that there are people who believe addicts should die for their "sin".

I think about the parable of the good Samaritan. A traveler is mugged, ignored by a property and a levite. But helped by a Samaritan. I remember the Samaritans. But I also remember the property and the levite. Didn't think I would. But I do.

When I was grieving, I didn't expect universal sympathy. But there were those who helped. People who wouldn't let me go. But it wasn't universal. Helpers and those who wouldn't.

The thing that olds understand least about anyone under 50, is that we have no loyalty to incumbency. We aren't interested in a Hilary Clinton that isn't working for us. We aren't interested in familiar olds. We want what's working for us today. And today, Hilary is irrelevant.

had it been blonde blazer or nothing, I would've chosen nothing. But invisigal? Someone wanting to do good but also lets her self esteem get in the way. More a victim of circumstance than anything else? That, to my shame, is my type. If she'd been more verbally abusive I probably would've proposed.

I just get frustrated from a Shakespeare reference perspective. The song is about someone lonely. But Ophelia was abused into suicide. Worse, this is her second incorrect Shakespeare reference.
