Each duchy has its own official color. Nobles of the specific territory will wear capes matching that color.

Cherenbel is a large continental country surrounded by the ocean. The country has three duchies; Alayria, Fojura, Kohara. Cheren, which hosts the capital city, is the territory under direct control of the country's sovereign ruler: the Zent.
