She would perish at the thought of my annual thanksgiving leftover sandwich. You take some bread and slap some of everything on. Minus pie of course but basically everything else ends up mashed together in there and it's heavenly.

It's wild to think that's the equivalent of Microsoft adding a Windows 95 theme to Windows 11 today.

You draw in Photoshop, yeah? It's not a cheap solution but the general consensus is that Adobe products are much more stable on Mac. Apple has a refurbished store with some decent prices on older models but it'll still be at least $600 for one that runs Photoshop decently.

I never even considered putting sleeper components in there! Makes me wonder how beefy of a system you could put in and still have it be battery powered.

Please just use cobalt.tools instead of tagging one of these. All it does is clog replies. I hated downloader bots on Twitter and I hate that they're here now too

Hotel cable has to be enchanted or something. I could watch literally the same shows at home from the comfort of my own bed but they never hit the same as when I'm in a hotel, air conditioner on, takeout from a nearby restaurant, watching on a flat screen that hasn't been updated since 2013.

Thankfully the bsky mods take impersonation pretty seriously when it comes to potential scams. Glad to hear it got taken care of!

What's worse is that the majority of them CAN run Windows 11 just fine, but most people won't look into how to get around the mostly arbitrary requirements and just buy a new PC. 😔

Given that the power grid has been functioning just fine with all of those machines running before they were "obsolete" I don't think power is going to be an issue for them.

It's a thunderbolt 2 port. It's used for docks, high speed storage, display output, and more. Modern thunderbolt (3 & 4) use a USB type C connector instead of that one.
