On November 12, 2016 - 8,000 anti-Trump marchers flooded downtown Los Angeles to protest the election of Trump. It was the largest of several LA demonstrations in the days after voters elected him. Many carried signs slamming his toxic words and demanding justice for immigrants, women and others 📸

In 2006, hundreds of thousands of immigrants’ rights activists marched to protest criminalization/deportation of immigrants. Protests lasted for 3 months. The largest occurring on March 25 in L.A. with an estimate of more than 500,000 people marching in what was called La Gran Marcha #lagranmarcha
