I have no idea why, but this lovely woman came up to me and asked me to take her picture. She told me how the flag she is holding was given to her when her father died. She was 16 in 1968. He fought in World War II. #nokings #montrosecolorado

There were over 1200 people at the rally here in the deep, red country of Western Colorado (Montrose, Co). I was shocked and thrilled to see so many people. I never thought I would see this. I literally got emotional. @maddow.msnbc.com

Our sweet Mo. She is named after a horse i adopted and lost. She was abused by her former owners and has trust issues with new people, but she is living her best life now.

It was Dulce's 11th Birthday. When I rescued him from his former breeder, he weighed 800 pounds, had bad hooves, bad teeth, and a troubled gut. He has come far. I'm always worried, but boy do I love him. ##OttbsRock
