But they do! My whole point is that their infographic shows a simplified control scheme so new players can pick it up. You don't immediately understand it because you have no context, they can't immediately download context in your brain.

Because this infographic literally shows that moves can be as simple as "hit this button while holding this direction". Thanks for the answer! The fail state I hit during the demo was early on, and I didn't have any saves so it was a bit hard to gauge.

Thought the demo was intriguing, but there was something I wasn't sure about: are you meant to restart from the beginning when you hit a fail state (like Outer Wilds), or reload some prior save and essentially save scum your way through one "perfect" run?
