He was an awful human being. But so many of my friends and family, some of whom claim to be religious, loved Kirk. They couldn't see this. They don't seem to understand, or care, that words matter

I hated everything about PM Howard, but the biggest thing for me was the racism. When I was growing up, Anzac Day was low key & Australia Day was a day off. Then the Cronulla Riots happened, then I was very aware as a wog, I will never be a 'real Aussie'
