Another harmful algae bloom is driving severely ill marine mammals onto SoCal beaches, disoriented and suffering from a neurotoxin. PLEASE call 800-39-WHALE to report a beached animal. The best thing you can do is keep your distance (pets too) and support places like @marinemammalcare.bsky.social
