If you are thinking of dumping windows os for Linux, Steam has you covered. With Windows Spyware in full operation there has never been a better time to jump ship. This will get me to switch strictly to linux in 2026 and beyond.

Technically, Donald Trump is correct. He must have meant that buying power was down 25%, not prices. Meaning that a Thanksgiving meal with 21 items in 2024, costs as much as a Thanksgiving meal with 15 items 2025. That is a loss of 25%. He doesn't understand numbers, or the English language.

Cleaning and sorting the washed controller shells for the wii. I'll be working on the motion controllers next, then the consoles. Didn't bother washing the thumbsticks. Those I typically replace.

I sat down and did some power-up tests on the wii's and wiiU. Found a pretty nice collection of loose games. Im not too sad about all the wii sports discs. Those I turn into sacrificial test discs when I have a sketchy drive. Now, I need to figure out if I need to do some replacement shell swaps.

Tonights quick projects are to quickly clean and test some original NES consoles as well and the accessories and then start working through the twenty-seven Nintendo Wii, now that batteries have arrived.

Working through various projects. So far, I've cleaned and greased the disc drive gears of two playstation 1's, fixed and cleaned about 10 various controllers. I also cleaned and swapped parts from three remotes for my pioneer kuro pro 151fd plasma in order to make two excellent remotes.

Found a divx dvd writable player for my crt tv. Disc drive was struggling to open, which had me worried. Took some time to disassemble the drive and saw the rubber drive belt was out of shape. Nothing a little boiling water couldn't handle. Before and after pics of the belt. Now working perfectly.

After seeing the news that PBS was canceled, I guess today was a great day to have purchased this. Sesame Street and Mr Roger's aren't going away, if I have anything to say about it.

I bought two of these blu-ray drives that can be flashed with newer firmware that will allow them to rip all forms or media. Did this since they have already stopped production of disc's, drives and players. I'll share what I can to help www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/924...

For those wondering, yes, Bungie has begun issuing refunds for the shipping rates given during the first weeks collectors edition purchases. If you did purchase the collectors edition, check for the email and give your bank a few days to receive the refunded amounts.

If you are planning on buying, or did purchase the collectors edition and noticed the high cost of shipping, bungie has implemented a fix and will be contacting you in the next week or so.
