I deleted (not deactivated) Facebook & Instagram, and X. Aside from removing my contributions to these platforms, I've noticed a decrease in my overall phone use. Less inane scrolling, but more purposeful interactions; crosswords, books, photographs.

Diagnosed ADHD in 2021, psych report lists difficulty reading. Advised that listening to audiobooks is valid and is a good way for ND folk to absorb literature. Have consumed more literature in the last 4 years than I had in the 32 prior. Audiobooks count.

TikTok,alongside its frivolity,gave a platform for educators&scholars to share their information freely. It gave us immediate challenge to harmful misinformation. The frivolity is the equivalent of play time, & the teachers are all likeable &engaging. It challenged existing authority. Hence the ban.
